Slant Six Forum :: 4.0 jeep in my dart

The more I reseach it I find it is a shame the slant six doesnt have a better flowing head. It is a better built motor, its to bad the Hemi 6 head want fit on it. Then we would have the same flow as the jeep head.

To be honest I didnt relize how good the /6 could perform even with the head it has until I got to researching things.

Anyone think it is possible for us to cast our own head. I know a few people that cast small stuff at there garage but not anything at this level. But I did some research on this and it looks like it could be done if someone knew anything about such things.

We're very lucky that we don't have a cast in log intake manifold or siameze ports. We get a good intake manifold, a fair exhaust manifold and 12 real ports all stock. Now if we had a pushrod 4 valve heads we'd be in fat city. http://www.araoengineering.com/
