Quote: One of the reasons Ford had so much trouble with the 69 and 70 Mustang Mach I was because the spoilers were all installed backwards.
Oooooh, cool trivia! |

Too bad the tables don't list anything that would be slant powered.

Uh...yeah, it is.Oops. Not an A-body. Unless the sanctioning body is brainless enough to open the Mopar Performance book and say "It says here the first A-body was in '64" or something equally dumb. In which case, have fun playing by even more arbitrary rules based on even more faulty factoids...! |

An idea I have had kicking around for awhile is to build a Volare based "Superbird" using a Volare/Aspen coupe, an 81-83 imperial nose, and a big wing on the back. |

Put the wing high enough to be in clean air - and to clear the trunk lid! |

For the wing to do any good, you have to have enough horsepower to get the car over 150. Below that, all the wing does is add drag. |

You mean adding the wing doesn't automagically add 10mph and take 2 seconds off your stoplight to stop light performance? Well at least they look sick on that calico Hyundai. |

That's why Superbirds and Daytonas were the original "ricer" cars. They didn't work on them either. |
