Dose the throttle cable have kind of a tight bend in it? Also, how long is your throttle cable measured from the engine side of the fire wall?

Yea it does have a tight bend in it, It has never binded on me and opperates smooth. The cable is approximatly 16-16 1/2 inches in lenght from the fire wall, It's a stock 75 1 bbl cable if that helps any.
