find a sure-grip unit. they are out there.......i have some and you can buy gears up to 4:10. besides you are only runing 17-18's.................ss |

I am like Sandy. I ran my Duster for a long time doing funny car burnouts out of the water at the track, just waiting for the "CLUNK". It never happened, but I put an 8-3/4 in anyway. An 8-1/4" would also be an alternative to the 8-3/4's expense. I tend to change gear ratios a lot, so I prefer the 8-3/4 myself. |

What I don't like about the 7.25" rear is the weak wheel bearings (caged ball bearings). The bearings are definitely not heavy duty units. |
