Looking at my 63 factory manual, your suggestion that I have an orange 17 tooth one is correct. I only have 4 1/2 teeth to reconstruct from, but it looks like 17. That would have been stock for a 225 Valiant with 650-13 tires and 2.93.

Sorry for the mis-info, I did not realize you were working with the 60-65 set-up.

OK. You can say it.
This type was only used in 1963, right?

Same pictures were used in the 65 manual, so you're safe...........

So this setup was used 60-65?

My FSM says that a 6-cyl Savoy/Belvedere/Fury had a brown 16-tooth gear in 1963.
I wonder what other models/years.

What models have a 16-tooth gear in 1965?

The 65 manual cross-references the pinion gears by transmission type,rear-end ratio and tire size................. (no mention of model)

If I have to get a whole speedometer cable to get the gear, I will look for a 16-tooth one for a TP-1 (6-cyl Savoy, Belvedere, Fury).

Can I use a cable from a Belvedere, or are there differences at the firewall or speedometer?
