Went to the new job today and got my shift assignment that starts after my 2 weeks of training. I go on 3rds Sunday-Thursday. IF I get dug out of the hole enough, there is a slim chance I will pull to St. Louis. I started reassembling the good motor last Friday too. With Labor Day in there I may have it back in the car too. |

If I get to StL it will be 2000 miles one way. Think I can put a new cam and pump and trailer hitch on the Valaint by then?......If I get to StL my trailer queen will be pulling the trailer not riding on it. I have to go to StL to race Bren for pinks......or at least a barrel of Red Ale. .....Do they even have Red Ale in Miss Zoo? ...when are we gonna see the Pussom get to the Left Coast? |

So far, so good. I was supposed to start as a crewman on a press. I got assigned an operator's position today. Between that and 3rd shift premium, I got a $3+ an hour raise already.

Where do people stay at for this big event...its only 4 hours from me (KC). Maybe seeing some slants run will get my fire going to get mine finished again. Its still got quite a ways to go though  .Any preferred sites? Maybe I'll figure up how much it'd cost to get out there. If I go I'll be flying solo, but if anyone wants to split a room I'd be open for discussion! |

We are going to have a room for friday and saturday I have offered it to Bagel if no girlfriends. What a Stud Muffin. If he passes I can share a room with a Slanted Friend. Might have talked Ron Hamby to come to this race lets see. How bout it all yall midwest drivers and Texas drivers and west coast drivers. Come get a piece of the Ron and Ron. Right now I am 99% positive that I will not be there. I am scheduled to go to 3rd shift that week, and they have been working 6 12's since June. Ron, I am down to 2 maybe 3 girlfriends now.
