i took a couple of polaroid pics and yes the triangular washers are on backwards. i also had one of those Australian gaskets for them to put on for the manifolds. i didn't pay much attention to how thick it was but the one on my van now is 1/16 inch thick. i thought the Australian one was thicker. i also had a cam ground from Tom McGibbon at Erson and i wonder if they even used it or just tossed it to the side. i'm going to a mechanic my dad knows today and then back to Pacific Engine Rebuilders to see what can be done.
