Doctor Dodge gave me some good advice earlier this year in my quest for mileage. He said to ditch the 1945 Holley and find a 1920. I did and was rewarded with much better mileage. I may end up doing that once I have a little extra money to spend on parts. Right now I'm at the bare minimum of getting my vehicles maintained and running (reliably), and the rest of my money is going into moving.
