hi sages- read all the entries and have tried some of them. the problem is the whole set up is fragile to begin with. the duct openings in the heater box and the dash tops are a strange size. corrugated plastic hose like on vacs expands softens bends and falls off when hot defrost air goes through it. what you really need is a spring body to it so it wont move, thats why the clip on the duct works very well with oem. tried the heat stove tubing too. the paper ones dont last long ; the metal ones are better but dont fit the duct openings. found too much air leakage when you put this tubing inside the ducts on the box and they fell off in use when you connected it to the dash vents. seems like it should be so simple doesnt it. still open to any suggestions. bob fisher |
