He made some adapters and sold them. Hasn't made any more. Yes, such an adapter would work to bolt an A500 to a slant.

Me, I want a 5 speed.
Take a look at the spec sheet:

http://www.wilcap.com/225350.PDF

It looks like this could be used to put a T5, T56, or Corvette ZF 6 speed behind a slant six, too.

And realizing that part got me quite interested. Not sure if I'd buy one right away with all the other stuff I have going on, but I might have to order one later.

Andyf,

I think your A500/A518 adapter is a great idea although I don't plan to replace my A904 just yet.

For the others who are interested, would you consider adding this product back to your web site with the condition that you are taking deposits ($50?) for it? You could then list the cost of the adapter on a sliding scale and show the current number of orders. The people who aren't willing to pay $400 for an adapter might be willing to wait until you have enough orders for the price to drop to say $200/adapter.

Holy Schniky! In the Wilcap kit, there is an option for an Aluminum Flywheel!

Now that is interesting! I doubt it is SFI certified, though.

I'm new to this site. I have a few 1965 Darts, all slant sixes. I am interested in the transmission adapter plate made by Andy F. Does anyone here have a kit they would like to sell.

Thanks

Hello shannond,

I would like to sell mine. Still new in box, can send pics and it is just like the pics on this forum. Perfect shape, never out of box. Will sell at price several years ago, less than $375. Adapter, dust plate, bolts, etc.

PM me at rock at intrex dot net
