Hemi6... can you turn off the caps lock, it makes me think that you are shouting at everyone.

Lots of good info. so keep it coming.
The key with this kind of project... do your homework, pick a project and get that done, then go to the next thing.

As for the 75, I bet it needs some spark advance... have you tried cranking-up the timing? Do you ever hear the car "ping" or spark knock?

The main complaints haven't been with Clifford's products (except a few recent bad castings), but with their customer service and shipping. I'm running one of their older intakes, reworked for EFI.

Thanks yet again everyone. I have advance the timing quite a bit after I had installed an Edlebrook water injection system on the car. It did make a great difference. The car previously would ping but never with the injection and lots of advance.
Slantzilla, thanks for the tranny info, I will follow up.

I was about the to make a new post asking the same thing when I saw this one. I got a 75 duster a few monthes ago with a stock 1bbl slant6 and its pretty sluggish. Its going to be my daily driver. Ive been wondering what all I can do to improve the efficency of the engine and to get more horse and better mileage. This is perfect so keep the ideas coming!

With a stock SL6, adjusting the valve lash, changing the spark plugs and advancing the timing will wake-up the performance.

With timing, doing a distributer "recurve" and being sure the vacuum advance is working correctly is well worth the effort.
