I would not powdercoat or jethot for the reasons listed above. You might look at Eastwood Co, they sell a "paint" for touching up powdercoat, and they claim it is almost as tough. It seems like the biggest enemy of paint is going to be the brake fluid itself. I have had VERY mixed results with POR 15. Just an idea. TopHat |

Can't speak for Jet-Hot, but at no time during the powder coating process does the part get anywhere near hot enough to make warp a concern. |

I don't know what temp to worry about warping at. I do know that during the process I use, the part is baked twice. First at 500 degrees for about 45 minutes, then at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. The part is allowed to cool to room temperature in between. That is how I do it, don't know if 500 degrees is enough to warp it. TopHat |
