We should be at most of the NC/GA area races this next year. Just hoping to have 2 cars.

Hey Frank, were you thinking about making Bowling Green in April?. I'm still waiting on other people to press on with my Slanter, however I remain the eternal optimist. Good Holidays to you!! RICK

Yes we are going to Bowling Green in April. Remember we are 18 miles off I 40 about 1 hour west of Memphis, TN. if you need a break any time your traveling thru.

Frank, you'll be better off going with expired date tags than taking the tags off. Expired belts they will probably let you by with unless the car is 12:00 or quicker. Missing tag is an instant bounce.

It is actually about as cheap to buy new harnesses as to have them re-certed. IIRC, re-cert is $90 and new harness is $100 with no 2 way freight. Just make sure that whoever you buy them from doesn't stick you with a set that have been laying around for a while. :?

I new about the tag removal being (busted) your outa here. The question was never having a tag in the first place, ie Sandy.
Question Dennis where is the Chicago race in 08, might tow our junk up there?

Frank, new job is going well. I have been on 12 hour days since mid November.

The Chicago race was moved to Martin, MI this year. I am not sure if Seymour moved it back for next year or not. We only had 5 cars at Martin, so turnout was less than stellar. :(

Problem with the Classic series is that if you don't bring your own sponsor money they don't want you. I was able to get sponsor money for the race here a couple times, but there is such little interest in Slant cars here that return on investment is dismal at best.

No tag at all will be an instant bounce too.

Seumour has the slant race returning to Rt 66 in august.

Good For slantzilla, less tow, more go.
