I wish they made the same setup for the 66 cuda's. I know what you mean about a "have to have it" A/C is really not an option in Arkansas's delta either.

I know, just bustin chops bren, relax and turn your A/C on

I don't see pictures of your setup in your site. Sounds like an interesting combo for an A... I didn't know that there's options for the knee beater box.

Anyway, I undestand about the weather, I live in an area where you get tops 40° temps but not steady, summer temperatures are averaging 33° and in winter ain't drop below -5 to -10° (all celsius)

Anyway, if not a daily driver, I wouldn't bother with A/C. I have had non-A/C cars for daily driving and I just roll the windows down. I have toured the northern states of argentina on those cars (with really hot weather) and I see your point, although I don't agree with "must have".

"must have" items in my list are power steering and maybe brakes depending on car weight.

I sure appreciate the A/C when wife makes me drive with windows up because she doesn't feel secure in town with windows rolled down

In Phoenix area temperatures will be 110+ (43 C ) daytime highs in July and August and 100+ ( 38 C ) daytime highs June - September. It will be in excess of 90 F ( 32 C ) beginning as early as March and continuing through October. Below freezing temps occur maybe a half dozen times in a year and they rarely fall below 28 ( -2 C ). Even at night the temps will be 90+ as late as midnight during the heat of summer. Air Conditioning is a necessity if the car is to be used during summer months.

All I did was drop off a block and rods. Not much to see yet.

I may even pop for a brand new nitrous camshaft this time to replace the 20+ y/o Clifford I have been running.

So far I am only planning on running track points at RT66 and the Classic there. If things work out I may pull to Monster Mopar too. I don't get any vacation time until September, so I have to plan accordingly. :D
