Wanted to thank everyone for teir replys.....my server went down, and with all out work, I didnt get back ere much. My trans is a 74 unit donated to me by Sergio, so it will run the later saftey switch. I will try to get it hooked up so that it functions. I plan on getting the car to Las Vegas for MATS, so need it to be legal. Andrew |

What year is your engine/crankshaft? The hole in the end of the crank changed size between 1967 and 1968, as did the input section of the trans. If you have the early crank, and the late trans, you will need a special built converter, to fit the early crank and the late trans.

The old engine I have is a 68, so I am OK for now. The engine I want to build is a 63 Block, but will also run a later crank.....will have Turbo Action build me a stahl when I am starting to get the engine build under way.Now I would like to round up a decent cam, even used to stick into the old engine.......right now I am just trying to get the car moving under its own power...and stopping under its own power.I just need some luck, better wheather,parts,and more money....LOL dont we all?
