That should be a 904. They came stock with the SL6 in cars, trucks got 727's. |

it there no different between one from a sl6 and a 318 the guy say that it was a torquefilte here what i found about http://www.allpar.com/mopar/torqueflite.html let me know what you think |

I don't know a lot about it but I do know that there were a number of different versions of the A904 Torqueflite. The V8 version had some heavier compnents and deeper clutch packs. You can, and some have, put the V8 "guts" into the six cylinder version case. However, unless you plan to really hot rod your slant I think it's probably overkill. You can use the A727 if you can find a slant 6 version or an adapter. It generally isn't a particularly good idea for most slant owners because it is heavy and has more internal drag. Bottom line is that for stock to mildly modified slants the original A904 Torqueflite is more than adequate. |

A nice light clicking sound. It they are quiet, then they are too tight. See the "engine questions" post for the valve setting process. |
