Welcome on the board. Please recheck your figures. Where did you find them on the engine, and what is the engine in (or out of)?

Just double checked and it is P1 225 r 2695, located on the top front of the block, stamped below #1 plug. I don't know what its out of as it was already pulled. It has a 1bbl carb, air cleaner sticker says 225 charger. The block is a real "pretty" powder blue. It does have various other #s on the block, but nothing indicating the engine size ie: 806830-2 cast in front of the starter.
Thanks again

That'll be 2806830 (-2) cast into the starter side of the block, which indicates a 1968 through mid-'76 "RG" block, which means your engine is either a 198 or 225, and not a 170. The "225" part of the stamped number indicates the engine was originally a 225, and probably still is, though the 198 and 225 use the same block (the rods and crank are the differences) so if this is a "remanufactured" unit, it could be a 198.

The "P1" at the beginning of your stamping number is probably "PT".

PT: Engine built at Trenton Engine Plant
225: Original engine displacement in cubic inches
R: Regular-fuel engine
2695: Date code. Decodes to December 13, 1968. That means this engine was originally built for a 1969-model car and would originally have been painted not the common Chrysler Blue, but a greenish-blue light turquoise colour.
