I have a Ford style M90 sitting on the shelf. This manifold and snout extension would really kickstart that project...

I would need to know that the bolt pattern would work with this American M90. Should be the same, I guess, but I look forward to some dimension pics or blueprints.

Thanks!

Lou

Looks like we have some specs! About 17 inches overall length with runners coming in at about a 10 inch average. (That is if I eyeballed the metric numbers correctly :? ) More info at the Aussie speed site!

I would think that reinforcing the runners would be necessary to circumvent cracking from the stress of the weight of the blower. Also the stress of the drive belt.

And will it work with A/C?????

What is the advantage of the log runners? Higher rpm torque? or low?
With the factory aluminum super six manifold selling on ebay over $200 now and hard to find the 2 barrel version has me interested. Would the long runners and a 2 barrel be a good street setup?

There is such a thing as a "log manifold", but this isn't one of them, so I am guessing you meant to type "long", is that right? Longer runners generally help low-to-medium cylinder packing, though the Hyper Pak Valiants and Lancers (with runners much longer than this) certainly didn't run outta breath at an RPM that could be considered "low"!

Yikes, really? Haven't seen that.

My estimation: YES, as long as the plenum heater option were specified.

Since the Clifford Hpak is about 7 inches longer and the runners are a bit longer, I wonder what that will do to the ram tuning and low end torque of this new manifold (it'd suck if the torque only came in at the high mid range... but the ram tuning would come in sooner... but that might be moot as most performance camshafts don't like to 'play' in that rpm range....

MichaelS and DusterIdiot, Pentastar parts is advertising (I know- this doesn't prove a thing!) Improved horses and torque and excellent mid to top end performance gains. Not an engineer myself (far from it) but I like the equal length runners and the heated plenum. I am hoping there is good low end as I am planning to purchase a 4bbl intake and run it on the street. (sometime in the next ten years! Where is that economic stimulus check?

I called and they said the 4bbl should be avaialable next week. They were doing an initial run of 20-25 units. The ports measure 35mm tall by 28 wide. They have room to go 4mm in both directions.

Placed my order last night with PP&R. Had some minor glitches - the site could not figure shipping outside of AU and was billed in Aussie dollars not US . Got an order conformation immediately and a quick response about the shipping. I am working out the rest by e-mail. So far so good. Got my fingers crossed. Can't wait for my 4bbl intake!

Anyone else order or am I the Lone Ranger?

They never replied to my questions about the blower intake. Apathy wins few sales.
