It had a hydraulic problem. We swapped a part from my old transmission in there, and it works fine. :D

The assembly of pistons and such has to be clamped together to overcome some springs for the front band engage.

I damaged it when reinstalling it. It wasn't sealing up.

It is now, and shifts quick and hard. snick, snick! It's nice getting a thump in the back when it goes into the next gear! :D

been awhile since ive been inside a 904... u speakin that the clutch packs didnt nestle down all the way...

Very glad to hear your good news!!! I have bad news from Tranny Town here....I got the fuel cell, and braided lines all hooked up, and chenged the filter and gasket in the "for now" trans in the car.....started it up, and got the electric water pump going........and as I added trans fluid to the trans.......it came out the front of the bellhousing area. I ope I can get this thing wired, and the brakes finished up.......so I drag it to Medford.
