I also ran a reman'd BBD ( asked for "a '76 Dart Sport w/a 318 carb")
that I bought at my local Schuck's(Checker/Kragen) IIRC ,paid $180.00
&thought I'd been WAY overcharged(let salesman talk me into the "lifetime" version) That was 10+ years & 4 or 5 cars(mine & a friend)ago, that carb ran great, never any problems in fact still doing just fine,it will go to Wildcat as part of a trade/swap Super Six package I promised to Ed Yost
Warren@PDX.com p.s.- I no longer think I paid too much for that BBD

I have some time, so I'll probably try and adjust the bbd some more.
The two Webers (36DNV I think) are supposed to be rated at 400 cfn together. So I'm guessing that what seemed like a bit too much on my stock slant might be okay with just one of the Weber 2bbl carbs. It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

Get the adapter and play with the Weber. I think there is lots of jetting/venturi choices?

I called the tech line at "carbs Unlimited", and the guy told me that the DCNVH36 is an old carb, and he didn't think they had anything for it.
So, if I want to use one of these Webers, it looks like an adapter plate will have to be fabricated.
