thanks bro, yeah i wanted a cam but i think im gonna wait for when i settle down with a career and i have a house where i can completely tear it down to do a proper rebuild, yeah i know about the oil burn. thanks ya'll for the ideas and i think i will go get that oil pump. well tomorrow i get to get really dirty im cleaning the block and the oil pan..omg it is sooooooo dirty and filled with so much...$#!+..lol night ya'll and i think i am gonna buy the service manual... locations to buy? |

Check ebay for the manuals. Sometimes at car shows you will find literature vendors as well. There are online vendors if you want to buy them in electronic form on cd, but budget wise ebay may be better. If the engine was hanging on the torque converter while it was still in trans, inspect the converter hub closely (the part facing the rear of the trans) for any signs of cracking before putting it back in. |
