Snugging down but not tightening the three intake-to-exhaust bolts is the correct procedure, but the metal gasket never seals properly (at least not for long). Do yourself a huge favour; it is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions. |

You can also get great quality gaskets from remflex.com They deal to autoparts stores, or you can call them direct. Great company with great service. |
