The slant six race is our show. Don't worry about it. You can race! (Mine's a '74 too.)

In addition, the electronics they are talking about are something else entirely. Doesn't apply to us in any event. In the Racing section of the web site you should be able to access the SSRN rules.

If you show up in a 2008 Humvee powered by a slant six, your golden.

We slant six's don't care what year. The track has had no problem letting newer than 72 year cars run in their inline/flat head class.

Looks like I'll be there. Anyone down the valley want to caravan Friday? I won't be leaving too early as I will have been on swing shift the week prior and will be rolling along about 65MPH. Maybe I can win a round in Medford. :?

i just got back from a contractors meeting in Ashland... there are construction zones every 10 miles, and the police are racking them up today... also the air quality didn't look good (everything 1 mile away looked ok... anything more distant looked like it was behind a smoke cloud....

Good luck...hopefully saturday I'll get the head back on the Duster....

sheesh...4 hours of straight driving... now I just want to stand a walk around a while....

Man 15 cars already, looks promising. Is Doug going to try for another family trip that would add 3 more. We might get twenty or more.

I will be there might have nitrous hooked up too.....

This meet is going to be absolutely astounding to the peeps at the drag strip... Holy Cow! Almost 20 cars with SL6's in them!!!!

Ranging from the mid 12's, to Low 20's.... broad range....

Allen and I are still a solid "may-be"... :?

If we manage to swing attending this race, we will have to leave the Bay Area late on Friday and "team drive" through the night... not the best plan for running good in the brackets the next day but hey, it's another car in the field.

HI Doug/Allen: For those of you that are coming to Medford, we will be able to accomidate your later arrival. This is our slant6 show and we can hold off running any eliminations to later on Saturday...Just be there sometime on Saturday morning. Yes, we need the car count as the East Coast teams are "breathing down our necks" and continue to increase their car counts. They have one more race left than we do so we need to make Medford a 17 + car field making it the first 50 point race of the year. See you both at Medford...Wayne
