Who has contacted them, and why does no one know about this? Tilley is the only one I know of. I'm surprised I haven't heard about previous attempts with them.

I'm interested to hear what were the previous interactions. Tilley's interactions sounded pretty hopeful and reasonable to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a potentialy larger market for a alloy slant six head then for the "hemi" six head?

I believe you are not wrong, Charlie. My guess is 20-30 heads in the US off the bat, and likely 6-10 in Oz/NZ.
