I dont think any set of shocks is going to compensate for the stiff spring rates I'm using.
What torsion bars are you running?

I figured as much, but I was asking Mr. 64 4-speed.

Edelbrock IAS shocks are my favorite right out of the box. I like how they soften up on impact, but do the job on rebound. On my Dart, I have .920" t-bars and the Edelbrocks.

.890, is that all? I'm running 1.04' torsion bars and it rides very well. The dampers (shock absorbers) are the key.

Wow wicked, do you have super expensive shocks?

I have QA1 Stocker Star single adjustable dampers. Not cheap, but good shocks are necessary with high rate springs.

And they're rebuildable, too. So they pay for themselves over, what, 40-50 years? :)

That's what I plan on running next.

vynn you kill me. =)

I can tell you this, I did some before/after rides in a friend's cuda with a poly front, .990 tbars and KYBS vs. the SPAX. I can't even compare the difference. At speed, the KYBS were just plain harsh over bumps. The SPAX were far better at making the ride smooth. More sportscar vs. towncar smooth, but very nice to ride in.

They are an English damper, and I organized a group buy on them about 2 years back. you can buy them from http://jrponline.com but like I said, they ain't cheap. They are single adjustable with 20 some odd damping settings.

Lou and maybe Josh have a set. I can't recall, I organized it on the mopax list.
