The pistons I had made are flat tops and should yield a CR around 8.0 to 8.2:1. I plan on running 20-30 PSI. Brian assured me they are plenty strong.

MD71, I've edited your post's markup to make the photos display. Please review the how-to guide for posting pics to make it easier for yourself next time. :-)

Nice-lookin' pieces! What method have people found best for communicating with Brian @ Wiseco? I sent him a PM and an e-mail, offering to host and post pics and asking a couple parametric questions about the pistons, and never heard back...

Anybody that thinks a trade show is fun has never worked one. SEMA is 4 very long days of being on your feet talking to huge numbers of people and never leaving the booth and no time to do anything in the evenings except for getting some food and rest. Usually by the second day I am so worn out, I do not even know my own name. On the good side, I am leashed to a booth with Brian Nutter who is a good friend and a very knowledgeable.

Agreed!

I take 3 pairs of good shoes and rotate them regularly.
I sip water all day and eat lightly.
I wash my hands every chance I get.

I keep a log of contacts and business cards and spend a day in the office when I get home making sure I got my monies worth out of the considerable cost of a show.

In the end our website serves us better........

Are you working the SEMA show and if so, what company?

Me three. There's a lot of standing and/or walking around on hard floors, the food is bad and expensive, the washroom lines are always long, the noise level is high. And SEMA is a particularly awful one. It's full of arrested-development permanent-sixth-grader knuckledragger timewasting drooling morons. You can actually feel your brain dying little by little when you're forced to interact with them. And that describes only the visitors. The vendor mix is such that the tiny percentage of good, legitimate products are outnumbered at least 50:1 by dumb, worthless, dangerous, illegal, and otherwise garbageful crapola.

And to top it all off, it's in the heart of Las Vegas, which is a great place to go if you're looking to feel ashamed of the human race.

I sure hope I am not viewed as part of that large group with the dumb, worthless, dangerous, illegal, and otherwise garbageful crapola products.

I don't think he was referring to you. He's just a tad testy from the 20% that are snagging the low hanging fruit, and playing games.

I think it's time for me to contact Brian to get some "Spare Parts" in case I do something nasty to my Hooptie engine....

Are you going to be at MATS?

There were some excellent vendors there. I think my next tranny will sport a substantial number of "Go Fast" parts from a couple of them!
