OK, just make all the links the same length and keep them parallel. If you don't care about handling ladder bars are cheaper and easier.

I do care about handling. That is why I am looking for the 4 link setup.... so it can be done the rite way I saw an article in custom rodder magizine where they bagged a 53 pontiac using a 4 link rear and that is what gave me the idea to research and to go this route of bagging my Valiant.

OK: static. Might I recommend any one of many fine General Motors products for said lowness? That Valiant is not the car you are looking for. So help me, Obi-wan.

The 4 link has a lot of handling prowess over springs, especially for quarter mile use. I think you misinterpreted, the springs and cal-tracs will do everything neccessary for a slant, for 10 seconds cars you start to ride a bull not a car.
The 3 link has a superiority in autocross use, though I still don't completely understand. The 4 link your thinking of is a Air-Ride set-up, I believe it essentially replaces the shocks and springs for a bag set-up. My suggestion is to find a way to buy a kit like that, I'm crazy, but that's a big project even for me.

Chrisparis, if it's your Valiant and you want it low, bag it and slam it. You'll never make everyone happy, so do what makes YOU happy.

Lowering your car is a lot better than trying to create an exhaust system that's so loud that it annoys everyone in a 5 mile radius... Just make it safe to drive.

If you want an air bag setup you should be able to get some kind of kit or at least a good plan from the companies that make the air rides.

I helped do an air ride on a '51 Chvy panel truck. If you have decent fab skills and a good welder it is not that bad.

Yeah, I'm just messin' with ya. As long as no one steals my car in order to "pimp my ride", I'm all good.

If you want to bag the rear of the car, I would check out the Airride Technologies kit for the first gen Mustang. If it fits a Mustang, it can be adapted to a Valiant.
