K1 rods narrowing to cast crank width - any takers?

Ditto on the pacing myself thing and needing to recharge the wallet.

I got a quote from Tom at K1 for some bigger bore pistons, so I'm trying to save the coin for a set of rods and pistons now.

Gary Bruner is going to build me a race motor for the white Duster.

We'll just hang on to the 198 rods. I'll be building more Slant 6s once I get back anyway :wink:

Doc, thanks for weighing in here (haha). You've really hacked a bunch off those 198 rods! My guess is the narrowing will knock the K1's down below 600 g.

wvenable, I hope we'll see you at the Clay City, KY Slant 6 race this year, and maybe another? Kearney, NE or Knoxville, TN?
