Dan,

With minimum of 10% ethanol or so it says on the pump sticker, how much mileage loss should we expect to see?

A 1/2 mpg or 1 mpg?
or more?
Actually it is a max of 10%

This whole ethanol B.S. aggrivates the Hell out of me.

I don't think I am paranoid, just think the government can't afford to to have everyone getting 35MPG. They get their $$$ per gallon that we purchase. If you read the stuff that is off the front page our gov is needing to make up lost revenue. This last monster price hike changed our driving habits.

Obama turned down a proposal to tax us on every mile we drive.

I have heard in Oregon they either have implemented that plan or want to do so.

Let's require ethanol in the fuel to lower mileage so we can get more revenue.............

Yes, it is very frustrating!

I was wondering why my mileage dropped over the winter. They must be putting more ethanol in.......The max I am able to get is 24.6 mpg while during the summer I was getting 25.6 or more..........

The driver of the gas tanker says he loads the ethanol first then drives to another depot to add the gas. He says it mixes together on the 30 mile drive to our Cenex station in Black Diamond from Tacoma. I often wonder if really ever mixes......some tank fulls are pretty sad where I drop down to 23.5 mpg while others the mpg comes right back up. I fill up every two days on the same pump, same time of day and drive the same route.......
