Quote: I have the 13" with dog dish covers, and I like this combo.
May look big, but they can be mounted on the 13 x 4.5 rim.....
I'm going to get the car repainted soon, so I'd like to fill up the wheel well appropriately. Right now I've got 175 70R13s, and they look WAY too small. I had them put on because that was the tallest we could find, but I now see there are some options out there. I found some 185/80R13s, which are about the same as the factory original diameter. I'd like to run these on my Dart. However, would these be too wide on my tiny stock rim? |

When doing the Brakes on my Woman's PT Cruiser, just for fun I wanted to see what the aluminum rims and tires would look like next to my 63' and by gosh the bolt pattern is Identical. If I was into Billet, I would do it in a heart beat. the low profile tire and rim combo looked good. just a little F.Y.I. |

My '64 spent a lot of time on 185-80R13's on stock rims. |

I believe PT Cruisers use 5 on 100mm, not 5 on 4". NOT close enough to be safe. There's also an issue of backspacing. |

I'm running on stock 13's, I just dropped down to Canadian Tire and picked up some basic tires as she's not a daily driver. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4 ... r%2BSE.jsp I have the stock 69 hubcaps and rims, would like to get a set of small bolt Ansen sprint mags. http://www.wheelsforless.com/detail.aspx?ID=2516 When I went to CTire to get the new rubber, even after I went into great detail about the different thread directions on each side, they stripped most of the studs on one side and messed up the threads on the other side. Morons. Either way, they paid to have ALL the studs and nuts replaced elsewhere. |

Quote: May look big, but they can be mounted on the 13 x 4.5 rim..... Of course, it'll be wider than the Dart's ever seen I guess I thought it was only 4" wide. So I'm good to go without having to get new rims. Yay. |

Check out summitracing.comhttp://www.wheelsforless.com/detail.aspx?ID=2516 I believe those same Ansen rims are about $20 cheaper. |
