Mmm...don't think so! Definitely not the case on A-body cars, don't think it's the case on F/M-bodies either, but could be wrong.My '72 B300 was originally manual steering which I replaced with power steering from a '78 Dodge Magnum. |

Okay, thanks to all of you for your input For now, I'll probably just keep power steering in my Volare. I already have a FirmFeel steering gear, so I just need to find out exactly where the leak is coming from. My first guess is the pump itself, next guess is one of the hoses. Thanks again for the input, and I agree that safety is important! |

Okay, I took my manual steering box to an O'Reilly Auto Part. I ordered a pitman arm just so I could compare it to the pitman arm on my manual box. The arms look identical. The pitman arm on my power steering box looks just like them also. So, I may splurge for an adapter when I get some extra cashola. I'm not sure when that will be though... |
