I think i'll get a brake tomorrow.. Well hopefully Edit: Heres a website with scan tool description i just looked up for yall http://store.eldoradotoolsales.com/otc-3861.html |

MP is correct. Just talked to a friend that has worked at Mopar dealers forever. He pulled out the 87 truck, van, and rear drive passenger car wireing diagrams. Truck and Van DO have an OBD1 connector. Cars do not. He is going to try and fax me the diagrams, tommorrow. |

Interesting! I wonder if it would be worth it to install one just to mess with it. Probably not. |

My friend, Mark, even has one of the early 80's Imperials, with the fuel injection. He is going to get me a copy of the service manual that pertains to the engine managment system. |

That looks very similar to the hookup on the 80s era K-cars. Hmmmmm. |

Yeah, most of the guys with the OBD-equipped slant-6s hang out on www.slantsix.com instead of here. |

"K"-cars are like Ply Horizon, and Dodge Omni, other similar front wheel drive Mopars.Just curious. Do the other /6's on this site not have this obd hookup? From what I have found out, so far, it looks like that was only on 87 trucks and vans. Never on the slant six cars. Not on 86 or 89. Still checking on 1988 truck and van. I know not on 88 rear wheel drive cars. That is why you were questioned about this, Being a one year(?) only truck or van, not many people would have seen this in person. See, everyone can learn something new from anyone. You don't have much experiance with slants, but we still learned from you. |
