Ok, I cant find the receipt but I wrote down the info in my note book. I paid $33.00 plus shipping for a total of $42.03. The wires are the 8mm Magnacore number 6008. I will keep trying to find the site I bought them from, I'm sure the invoice is in my piles somewere. This was last summer so the prices may have gone up.

I took apart my used cheap 7mm carbon string wires last night with a knife for inspection.

Then I took apart the 97 Olds Bravada cap to coil wire I snagged with the HEI all in one. (I could not use that wire as it does not work with the /6 cap, it has the the same HEI terminal on both ends.)

The factory GM HEI wire was 7mm and had a spiral core wire like that of the Magnecor. Looked much better than the carbon string wires IMHO.

I can't wait to get my 8mm Magnecor wires with custom HEI end for coil in the mail. :D
