If I plan on sticking to the 8.25 that is currently installed, how much HP/Torque should it be able to withstand? This will help me decide my options for the motor.

8 1/4s are pretty good. Unless you go drag racing with a manual trans and slicks I think you're unlikely to find the limits with a slant.

Uh Huh... let me use the search function... was it 25000 miles on Green bearings on your Cuda, mostly being towed ;) I remember!

Don't recommend cannabalizing an E body these days though...
