Check the Erson cam sticky at the beginning of the engine topics for the table on all the Erson cam profiles.

Sorry, I just looked and SL6 Dan pulled it from the first page.....

I had saved a copy awhile back and just emailed it to you.
Hope that helps. You can get a detailed cam card sent to you from Erson. The phone number can still be found in the sticky.

Now, how can I recurve a dist.? Is it somthing I can do myself, or do I have to have it taken somewhere?

Yes, you can do it yourself. Start with a 74 to a 77 distributor if you can. The 15R governor will provide the best mileage and the spring posts are adjustable. But, you can recurve any distributor.

You can do a search for the guide or I can send it to you if you like. Sure wish it was a sticky........

Yes, start collecting distributors so you can assemble a spring selection. The 1967- 69, 340, 383, 400 and 440 distributors have the best springs. The vacuum advances you can still buy new. I am using the VC-208 to maximize mileage. Rock Auto and NAPA are your best friends.

My setup:
The primary spring is red and a medium tension from a 400, also found in a 340. The secondary spring has a long loop and a few more coils to it from a 383 or 440. The spring post on the primary is shortened all the way. The secondary spring post is lengthened all the way on a 15R governor.

My current advance is set at 12 initial with 20 degrees mechanical from the springs and another 22 degrees from the can for 54 degrees total at 2500 rpm. The super light drag racing springs MOPAR sells are the same as the Mr Gasket from Summit or Jeg's. The single light and the super heavy secondary make for allot of fun, but after awhile you really don't want to spin the tires. The power comes on with great gusto....you may like it though.

Yes! MOPAR sells the same springs for racing. You could use one spring on the primary side and a super heavy duty long looped spring on the secondary side to limit the travel. When I ran this setup it was very punchy!.

The red medium spring I am currently running mellows it out a bit unless you punch it to the floor. The gas pedal is allot less sensitive/touchy. The overall mechanical timing amount stays the same (20 degrees in my situation). All we are doing is changing the rate of progression.......from coming on with a bang and allot of tire spin to a gentler more manageable acceleration.

I just emailed you pictures of the springs for reference. These are all MOPAR springs from old distributors.
