Wellll, since you're offering 8)

Is there a good book on rebuilding front ends - Mopar specific? I've got the shop manual, but haven't looked through that section to see what's there. I've never done a project like this, so it'll be interesting. But then again, I had never done a leaf spring replacement and look at me now!!

Never a dull moment.

Tom Condran's Performance Handling for Classic Mopars is a great reference for this, and he gives easy to read instructions on doing all the suspension rebuilds, part numbers, junk yard tips, etc. Well worth the $30 he wants for it in my opinion.

Here's the ordering info I have

"$30 (POST PAID!!) to ACME MAIL ORDER, P.O. Box 282612 , San Francisco, CA 94128-2612"

That book sounds awesome, but is there some way to order it besides sending money to a seemingly random "ACME Mail Order" PO box in CA? That name and lots of derivatives of it bring up nothing searching the web. It would be nice to at least have a phone number.

don't have it handy, but you might be able to find it by contacting someone at the Mid-Peninsula Mopar Club since I have seen him at these club meetings.

That's his PO Box and he makes good on orders. Have done it myself, so I guess its up to you and your faith in the world ;)

I have two copies of that book, a clean one for research, and another one to keep beside me while I'm working in the shop. I would not have taken on this undertaking without something like Toms book.
