yeah, you should be able to do that, as long as theres clearance to pull the trans back far enough so the bell can clear the converter, and there usually is.

Have used it a few times to stop water problems on basically junk motors,,,,Honda Prelude,running on three,spitting water out of plug hole #3,added a jar of sodium silacate to radiator,Told buyer what I did and motor was toast,car was very clean.Over a year later I ran into him and he was still driveing the car,over 10,000 miles later with no problems.Look at Bars stop leak,It has sodium silacate in it.Works great for water issues,if it was poured in a crankcase I wouldnt touch it.Mark
