Did you mount the carb parallel or perpendicular? .
I mounted the carb parallel to the engine. If this thread is still alive, next week. I will remove the carb and take a picture of the manifold. Can't see much with the carb in place. Then I will have to e-mail the pic to someone to post it.
PS: I have been running this manifold and carb since 1979. Added the nitrous nozzles in 2001 or 2002.

The hard part for me is going to be keeping the stock look.. I wanted to apply for a collector's insurance policy on my valiant and they look at pictures of everything on the car..

I should be able to get away with it if i can retain the stock linkage to my BBS, but its going to come down to which way the carb sits..

looking foward to how Charrlie_S mounted his :p

Oh trust me I've been around a few yards and the slant stuff is hardly existent.. The only useful thing i've found is a head and intake manifold i could get for cheap.

Its going to get pretty brutal out here soon with winter driving coming in a few weeks.. so im thinking about rebuilding and tuning my BBS for reliability's sake.

In the mean while I'm going to go back to pick and pull and get the head and intake manifold i found :p I'll make a side project out of it until i can get my car in a heated garage hehe.
