I play in a couple of bands: myspace.com/leperkhanz myspace.com/thegreenjacketband So once the weekend comes around I turn into a ghost. I'm going to try to reapply the Frankenstein Linkage on Monday. I will tell you how it goes! Not to worry, gonna take more than a bias towards new carbs to scare me away!  rhY PS It sounded like everyone here was very well informed. That's not really all that scary. It's great! |

Just wanted to pop in and say that I stole the Frankenstein Linkage off the old carb, put it on the new one, and it works perfect!!! I guesstimated the Idle screw and Choke screw positions, and I got them almost perfect the very first try! There's still a tiny oil leak, but other than that, this Dart is mechanically done now. Tranny, Engine, Brakes, Electrical, Tires, all done. Still to do on the list: Heater Core and pipes Minor Body Work Wind Wing and Rear Right Window Trunk Latch and Auto Locks Hub Caps Paint Passenger Side Wiper Arm Radio Antenna If I have more questions or progress, expect updates! Thanks again for all the advice so far! |
