You absolutely need a timing light. This is mandatory, not "kinda would be maybe sorta nice". Go get one. |

Well, I'm not sure if that mark is still visible on the crank pulley, but I'll check later. Today I got to work at my part-time retail job at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I'll take advantage of my employee discount to get a timing light soon. Yeah, you're right. I know that I need to get a timing light. |

Check ebay too. You can probably get a higher quality timing light for the same price as your employee discount. I got an entire Sears engine analyzer kit from the 80's on there once with the engine analyzer, compression gauge, timing light and remote starter for $35 total. The whole kit looked brand spanking new as well. The only thing I wish it had was a dial back timing light. |
