Greg , I bolted my rear doors shut by removing the striker bolt , making a spacer and using a thru-bolt with a self locking nut. tighten just enough to keep the door seam even. That way if you do want to reopen the doors(maybe for a rollcage later on) you don't have to bust open welds. I left the outside door handles on because it I didn't want to do any body/paint work.
