All I can tell you is that my Holley 500 2bbl (similar to 350) does not get too close to the MC on my '66 Valiant with a much smaller engine bay than yours. A std air cleaner would definitely hit, but other options are available. I have one of those cheesy "Pro flo" foam air cleaners on there for now. It is a racecar.
