The "opportunity
" comment was in reference to Stan Aiton selling Will his Barracuda. Now he has 2 really awesome Notchbacks!! 
With gas prices and other things going on this year, if I do make it to Maxton it will likely be in my SRT-4.

Rob has some major winking going on, which I don't understand either. Maxton, I think, has been bought and ECTA may not be able to run events there after this year. Not decided yet, but likely. They are looking for another spot, but who knows? Lou |

It was Stan's car that convinced me that Slant 6's could be pretty cool after all. I saw it back in 1991 when I was stationed at Fort Eustis, VA for a school. I had just purchased my '72 Dart back in Tucson, AZ and had been introduced to the Slant 6 Club of America. I was still thinking that I would pull the 6 in favor of a V8, but I looked Stan up and he invited me over... I've loved THAT car, Notchback Barracudas, and Slant 6's ever since!  Thanks Stan! the Maxton is on my to do list,, just not ready yet,, plan to dedicate this spring - summer to getting one of my slants worthy. |
