I've been running dual dual exit on the passenger side of my truck, in front of the rear wheel, for 2 years now with no ill effects on the tires at all...ground clearance obviously not an issue with a truck.

The exhaust piping gets hot but with air movement there is no way the air coming out of the exhaust is hot enough to do any damage to your tires. Same goes for fume issue, if you're moving there isn't any way those fumes are getting into your vehicle...at idle it's a different story obviously.

Somewhat true but if say for example there were holes in he floorboards behind the exhaust, you can bet there will be exhaust coming in. I'm not saying yours does, but i know mine does :evil:

Every vehicle I have owned with a pipe infront of the tire hasn't damaged it, I just have to clean it a lot, which probably doesn't hurt anyways... :mrgreen:
