You can get info from Chrysler historical web sight http://wpchryslermuseum.org/newsroom.do?id=390&mid=135

The 2nd tag info is not as good I don't have any code info this car was built at the LA plant in Calif. The vin info you gave me is
1= valiant 6
7 = V200 wagon
2= 1962
5= LA Calif plant

Now the body tag
0709= 9 july 1962 production date
BDY= 176 valiant 200 2 seat wagon
Trim = 525 bench vinyl red or red and black
PNT= Ermine White monotone paint

J2 not sure
Q5 might be heater w/defroster
S1 not sure
V3 not sure

the 65 and later are much better info Might be worth the $45 to get the build info from Chrysler historic

Thank you, that verifies a couple more points.
Thanks for the link as well, I'll likely look into their offer.

I ordered from Chrysler Historical the information on my 65 GT convert and 65 Barracuda. The 65 info is the same that I got years ago (like in 84) from Galen Govier when he was doing them for free over at the now defunct Mopar Muscle Club International. Without a build sheet or fender tag for my Barracuda, the info I got from Chrysler Historical answered all my questions for the Barracuda. IMO, well worth the $45.
