In answer to your small question, Militos, the driver's side lugs were left-handed so they would tend to get tighter as the wheel turned, instead of loosening. I guess it wasn't really a problem, because now all lugs are right-hand thread.

FWIW, way back in Neanderthal days, my friend owned a '48 Chevy car and an early 50's Chevy truck. Both vehicles needed the left side lug nuts tightened periodically or they would loosen and fall off.

Most of our driving was on rural gravel roads, so I'm sure that contributed to vibrations that loosened lug nuts, but Mopars never had that problem and they were praised for having that good engineering feature.
