Actually, it was originally built in Windsor, but originally purchased in Kentucky, which is where the previous wiring, ah, um, uh...sorry, I don't know how you say in English. "Repair" is not the right word for no fewer than five crude splices in the main charging line, two of which were twisted together with wire nuts and the other three of which were gobbed with a wad of electrical tape. Not counting the drywall screw used to secure (ahem) the end of the wire, minus fuselink, into what was left of the corner slot of the centre bank of firewall connectors.

Naw, that was Dart III, the white '64. I sold it this past June; it had two cylinders too many and half of those were on the wrong side of the engine bay. I'm drivin' Dart IV, the "dark gold poly" (I call it brown) '73 I bought near Detroit last year. Previous-owner pics (before my repairs and improvements) are here.
The French word for "station wagon" is "break", spelt that way. I think it's something to do with French truth-in-advertising laws or something.

Dang, that is a sharp dart! I have always liked that particular Mopar color, especially with the black vinyl top. The only thing that would make that car better would be a black interior. It even has A/C!

As mentioned above, I've had just stock exhaust work done by The Muffler Shoppe in White Center, and was satisfied with the work. The guy isn't really into Darts that I noticed, but is focused on doing exhausts well, so I think he might be OK for you. He is not cheap, but I've always been satisfied with the quality of his work. We have taken 3 or 4 jobs to him, all /6 stock, and will probably take the next one there also. Be sure to show him what you want done. Call him, tell him his name came up on the "international" Slant Six Forum from some happy customers, and maybe you will get VIP treatment? (That means he'll give you directions to browse the best hardware store in Seattle, just a block away (McLendon's) (OBTW, he is into flying airplanes.) Ph. (206) 762-1939, 10009 16th Ave S.W. "Louise", a 1976 Dart Custom project, (now sadly reverted to being just an "organ donor" to our other project Darts.)

Dave (at The Muffler Shoppe) did a great job on my 5th Avenue, putting a 2.5" pipe from the Y pipe back to the muffler, then 2.25" to the bumper. Nothing hits, looks great. He takes his time and does it right. He always gave me the "handshake" job with no warrenty, but if I ever had a leak at a weld he fixed it for free. He used to have a helper there that was a car guy that was into Fords...kid had a nice '67 or 8 Mustang and a cool '61 Falcon with I think a 351 stuffed into it. Looked cool with the white/primer body and 14" red steel rims on it.
