I don't see a 225 making 300 lb-ft of torque without a very large stroker crank or a supercharger. Maybe if you made a billet stroker crank to reach 280 to 300 cubic inches? Not that it sounds like a good idea to have that much stroke - I think at least one of your goals needs adjustment. |

Hmm thanks I'm now thinking based on what I've read that 350NM of torque is a better goal that I should try to achieve. |

You should consider a stroker crankshaft. If you want a major improvement in mid range torque I think a turbo should be considered. A turbo is not that common on these motors. I don't see too many turbos built on this forum. If there was a common slant six turbo recipe with proven reliability and good results I might do that. There are limits on torque for a street driven slant six because of its size. If you want more torque at reasonable costs, that's what a 318 or 360 is for. |
