No..but checked vacuum and pcv..all ok..

I had all today to play...

Hard to start this am..reved it a lot..all ok..went in the house and left it idling. Started out..very sensitive to petal pressure..wanted to stall when I was accelerating down hill...wasn't sure if I was going to make it going up hill to an intersection to the gas station..unless you pushed the petal with tiny increments, it were fumble hard and try to die..let off the gas was the only solution.

Fill it up..stated the car w/o any probs..and took off with my foot planted...if I had done this pre the stop, it would have died immediately...was that way unless I left it over a couple of hours..

Real Jekyll and hyde here..could be two cars..

So it was ok for a little bit after you filled it up (had the gas cap off) you might have a vapor lock issue. Or perhaps it was just a heat soak, hard to tell from ross county.

Have you verified that the accelerator pump works? does it squirt as soon as you move the throttle?

Brand new pump.

No sucking when I take off the gas cap.

Talking about giving up on it this year..had to scrape off the widows....my wife asked me if I could move up the installation of the motor transplant .

thank you for all your advice.
