It is really good to see Seymour so excited about setting records again! :D His enthusiasm is contagious.

I've still got some ideas simmerin' on the back burner...

The Turismo won't happen for awhile, but I've been havin' me some conversations with a couple of them Suthern' Fellers...

I am really hoping next season is going to be a building year with more new faces showing up to race. I'm committed to helping with that and also getting the Clay City race back to it's former status as "The" race to attend for the East Coast folks!

I'd still like to get in the shootin' match on that record thang! I had some pretty unrealistic expectations while sitting in foreign lands, but now that I'm back and getting re-connected with the Slanted Family I think I can come up with some creative ways to challenge Seymour and Mark for some records...

Don't count me out just yet. :D

You and I both need to step it up several notches to have any hope of challenging Mark and Seymour,

"... but I'll take your bet and you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best that's ever been..."

I've got me a plan and I'm purdy darned motivated about it! How'z about you?

If Gary Bruner could get his car to 2700# with him and fuel, he might have a shot at C/gas 1/4 mile. He has run in the 12.40s and I think his car is around 2800-2850# racewt.

Hey Rob,

Knock it off! I'm trying to make Hagertsown the place to be on the East coast! :D We had 19 for our rainout this year. And I think 22-24 is very doable next year. Can you beat that? Hope to see you at Hagerstown too.

Hey Rick,

You Da Man! I'm gonna try to match that. I'll try to come to MD if you come to KY! :D

Hey Lou,

Gary said my engine is very similar to his with the lighter K1/Wiseco parts and the Duster should wind up being lighter than his Valiant by a couple hundred pounds.

(There are a couple other irons in the fire that will be "even moh bedah" than that! :D )

Stay tuned Race Fans!

Mark, pm sent... Great stuff. Those hotrod guys are lucky to get you.

Rick, I was wondering how long it would take you to respond to Rob's CC comment - not long! Let's make 2011 a big one on all fronts.

Rob, if Gary really makes you a motor as good or better than his, you might be in the record setting business...

Thanks Mark! I'll shoot you a PM as well. It will go up in my new "office" :D

I talked to Seymour for awhile yesterday. He was fiddling in his garage. He mentioned getting some good ideas from Mark about taking even more weight out of his car and kept mumbling something about finding his "Sawzall"!

Have I mentioned how good it is to be back in the states?
